Weekly PPJ

I started out this model by finding a pair of free images of reference images. The third screenshot shows how I used these images for reference in creating this model.

More will be done to this model however it will be kept relatively simple.

Hands and Feet will be fully modeled by next week however the head will only be added in shape as that will be covered by a helmet, so adding a nose, ears, and eyes is not needed.

I started by creating the torso and neck, then added in a right arm and a right leg. After the torso was complete I used the special duplicate function to create the other half of the torso and the other arm and leg. After that I began attaching the arm and editing the polygons to get rid of triangles.

Once the arms were complete I attached the legs to the torso in a similar manner, however I had to first create a space between the legs that did not have triangles. I simply bridged two of the front and back edges to create this space. Once that was finished I attached the vertices of the torso to the vertices of the leg, which was relatively easy because of the attention I made while making the torso and upper leg.
