Time spent this week: 7 hours
This week was a bit of a weird one since it wasn't as straightforward as other weeks for me. When I sent over the placeholder animation files for the game, there were some issues with visibility. The updated shoot animation and the reaver enemy model couldn't be seen. The shooting animation was fixed in a reasonable amount of time, but the enemy took quite a bit longer. A variety of different export settings didn't change a thing. It wasn't until the last second that Anhaff found that it might be related to deleting deformer history on the model. Sure enough that did the trick. I guess sometimes the strangest problems have the simplest solutions. With that said I continued working on animations for the enemy but I was kinda pressed for time since finals started for me. So my goal for finals week is to touch up existing animations and help out with anything else that needs some finishing touches.
Outside of animation related work, this week I also updated the cutscene dialogue box and ran playtests of the latest build of the game.
