So unsurprisingly I am still working on enemy models but I this week I managed to completely finish UV'ing the enemy gunner model and I am almost entirely done with the grappler enemy archetype!
This grappler enemy type is part of our "Anvil" faction and because of that, they are also pretty bulky and geometric. The difference between the grappler and the gunner however is the sheer size and bulkiness of the grappler's model. This enemy's function is to fly towards the player and slam them with shields in order to get access to the package. From there, the package will go into the torso and they will try to keep it away from the player.
All that's really left is the mouth area and some more small details on the helmet to really bring it together. I'll actually be able to complete that tomorrow, and then from there I will move on to helping the team with texturing our world models and enemies. Still a lot of work, but I like how the game is coming together right now!
