This week, we had a larger attendance for our team meeting. We had general discussion of the route that the game was going to take and the programmers were working together to implement new improvements and changes. During this, we also talked about what had been done thus far and what was planning to be done. We also worked on the Master Asset List and the Milestone Checklist. Once Ivan arrived at the meeting, I was able to break off with him and Robert to discuss the narrative of the game.
We talked for a while and drafted a beat sheet for what the opening and intro to the game would look like, leading up to a visual design for the tutorial that Robert and Dylan had thought of. We ended up taking a dark humor, cynical, and sarcastic approach to the story, similar to something like Borderlands and Fallout. Once the beat sheet was made, I was in charge of making the preliminary storyboard.
After the scenes outline in the storyboard, we're also working on finalizing how to transition from cutscene into the tutorial level.
