Group Meeting: 1.5 hours

First I familiarized myself with the team's resources so I can easily navigate them whenever I needed to.
On Saturday we had a group meeting where we updated the ADD, GDD, and One Pager. After having reviewed the ADD, I began looking at gameplay of some of the major reference material for the game's visuals such as Journey, Abzu, and No Man's Sky. While doing so I took notes of some of the visual effects that these games utilize to make a stunning environment. I also had to think about how to convert the visual style of these games to a space setting. Afterwards I went into a default Unity scene to mess around with post processing effects because they are going to be very important in this stage. After collecting some reference images I created a color scheme I'd like to use for the level that uses the robots from the red enemy faction. The colors are brighter than what I believe will be in the final product but it still serves as a nice guide. After the game's story is developed, We can get more of the contextual details in the levels but for this upcoming week I'll focus on further refining what's currently in the game.
