Rough Level Idea

This week, I wanted to create a level design as well as edit the space background. As of now, both aren't done and I am experiencing some difficulty changing the space background to better fit the style of the game, while still maintaining the nebulas. I do have a sketch of a level idea to show for this week, and while I still have a lot to flesh out, here is the sketch:

The base idea for the starting level is that the courier starts off at a wrecked section of their space station. From here the player is guided in three directions: towards a blown out missile (To the left), through an asteroid field and pathway (In the middle), or through another section of the station (To the right) There will be a lot more debris and asteroids to fill out the space, but enemies will pretty much be around areas of interest. There would possibly be a couple around the asteroids, but expect enemies to be by the pathway, station, missile, and even the end goal.


Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work on this as much as I would've liked this past week, but I feel that by my next post I should have something more detailed and fleshed out to properly display a level with color schemes and all.
