This week, the team discussed what new features need to be implemented into the game as well ass what modules need to be updated. The user interface is a key part of any game and I took the task of revamping it from scratch using my past experiences as a UI designer.
I was thinking in the avenues of blurring out the in game background like how it is done in Cyberpunk 2077.
Currently, the UI is too bland and unintuitive.
That will change in the coming weeks. I am targeting the design for something like this:
This will ensure a fluid user experience and also engage the player more with the game.
I also worked with the team to tweak the game documents like the GDD and ADD, and made changes to reflect what we have in store in the next few weeks.
