Modeling a New Enemy

Time Spent: Around 6 Hours


For this week, I essentially focused on modeling the melee enemy for the more feral faction. After our weekly meeting, we realized that modeling some of these enemies will take a considerable amount of time so to deal with this I decided that Jay will move to work on the cutscenes while I move to model the melee enemy. The reason for why I decided to start working on this model was mainly due to the fact that it doesn't reuse any assets from the other enemy model. Fundamentally, this creature is completely different, so in order to tackle this new character I began working with the head and I will move to the body and extremities next.


So far, here is only the general shape of the head (I didn't take any screenshots after so far) but I am working to finish the little details in the head and slowly work my way downwards. As for the model, some of the problem areas include the eyes and where the teeth will fit in. Regardless, I'm going to keep working with this model until its close to my drawing.
