After we got done with class this time we were able to get some feedback from the professor. We ended up getting a lot of helpful feedback from both the professor and our classmates. So during our meetup, we ended up defining all of the tasks that we needed to do before our final release next week. Some of the tasks that we created were, creating a tutorial level, implementing some sort of health pack, and fixing up the enemy rotation. These are the tasks that I was tasked with.


The first thing that I created was a tutorial, I decided it would be better to have the tutorial start at the first level where the player spawns. However, I made sure to have the player’s respawn point moved so once they die they do not go back to the tutorial. After, I created a bunch of “screens” that would serve as sort of an intercom for the player to receive messages. These messages tell the player what they need to do and the controls. Once that was done, Ahnaf helped me out in making it look nice. The next task was fixing the enemy rotation, I basically changed how the enemies rotate once they see the player. They should now be gradually rotating to the player once you are spotted. The final task that I did was create a health pack system, I made a script that checked if the player collided with it, and once they do the player gets 30 health. I also made sure to cap this health at the player's max health. Enemies should also now drop these health packs so once the player kills an enemy they can get rewarded.
