Setup Version Control

After our team got together we all unanimously accepted the idea of The Void Above. Once that was done we just started giving out roles for everyone and did a little discussing, it wasn’t a lot since most of the game was already designed out. The role that I got was to create the repository which wasn’t supposed to be hard but I guess it was harder than it looked.

The first problem I had to work out was to figure out which version control software to use, however after talking with the professor it seems like perforce was the way to go, however, once I downloaded the software and played around with it I found out that we needed to create a whole server in order to use it properly. The professor set up some instructions and had a server for us via Drexel, however, there are some problems with it so it looks like I won’t be able to set up a version control repository just yet. However, Ahnaf was able to create a remote host via AWS, so we have a repo that’s on that until we can get it on Drexel’s server.
