Finally was able to finish the base model for the main character and can no begin on creating the armor.
This week I focused on the hands, feet, and head. The hands and feet started with cubes with particular subdivisions, then were shaped to fit the references proportions. The fingers were very easy to make as it was a matter of extruding the faces of from the subdivisions and turning off the option of keeping the faces together. The thumb on the other hand required me to duplicate one of the fingers then shaping it approximately to the size of a thumb and attaching it to the side of the hand.
The feet were quite simple because they lack toes and are therefore just a shaped box that has the proportions and general shape of a foot. This is because the feet will be covered up by boots and makes it so there is no need to model the toes.
This is the same case with the head, since it will be covered up by a helmet, there is no need to model the features. The helmet will also feature eyes so that covers the face needing expression.
