This week I mainly worked on understanding how colliders work and the best way to use them in conjunction with a HUD. Set up a few colliders to inform the player that they are going too far from the objective by warning them. After a certain point, there is an overarching collider that teleports the player back to the spawn. Also worked with Ahnaf to get the movement to feel tighter. The model now tilts with directions and is much more responsive to movement inputs. Started work on the portal VFX as well as the bullets but that turned out to be a bit more challenging for one week so that would definitely be next on the board.
